Founder/CEO

Angelo Paulino

Angelo embarked on his personal journey to recovery in 2010, experiencing firsthand the transformative power of surrendering to a healing process and overcoming substance use. This profound experience ignited his deep passion for assisting others on their recovery paths. In 2011, as he pursued his training to become a Substance Abuse Counselor, Angelo also achieved his Recovery Coach certification. Eager to contribute his skills, he selflessly volunteered his services at various recovery centers.

An auspicious opportunity arose when an outpatient facility in East Harlem NYC extended an offer to Angelo, which he gratefully accepted. With his determination and dedication, Angelo thrived in his role, progressing from a Substance Abuse Counselor to eventually assuming a position as a Senior Counselor. In 2017, due to personal commitments, Angelo relocated to Georgia where he embraced the role of Program Manager in a Risk Reduction to Abstinence program.

Throughout his journey, Angelo learned the invaluable lesson of the significance of a strong support system. He firmly believes that the path to recovery cannot be traversed alone. It necessitates the presence of a nurturing community, supportive family, accessible resources, and a safe haven for healing. Motivated by this realization, Angelo established R.T.R., an organization dedicated to providing individuals with this proven formula for recovery.

With Angelo's unwavering commitment and lived experience, R.T.R. offers comprehensive support, empowering individuals to take transformative steps towards lasting recovery.
